Physician Assistant Workforce from 1980 to 2007

Developing a Physician Retention Plan

*Welcome to MOM!

MOM is a program of the Michigan Health Council, a non-profit organization founded in 1943 that specializes in healthcare education and healthcare workforce issues. MOM is a career tool for physicians and mid-level providers, which connects them with the Michigan communities and employers that need them.

Candidates can browse opportunities by geographic region, member employer and specialty, and can apply to any that interest them. MOM allows only in-house physician recruiters, practice managers and CEO’s to utilize the website.  Sorry, recruitment/contingency firms are not able to participate with MOM.

We hope you will find MOM to be a fast, friendly and knowledgeable resource in your quest for the practice opportunity that is right for you!

If you have questions or are an employer seeking more information about becoming a MOM member employer, please call 1-800-479-1666 for personal assistance.

We wish you good luck and continued career success!

Testimonial:
“We were able to fill a very difficult sub-specialty search through the MOM candidate database.  We probably saved $30,000 in recruitment fees on this one search alone!  As a charter member, I can tell you that I wouldn't be without Medical Opportunities.  It is an investment that has paid for itself many times over.
